Luxury Mayfair 2 Bedroom Apartment

  : I promise you this is not luxury Accommodation! There is no TV! when questioned we got a dry response "its not listed in ammenities" what "Luxury" accommodation in mayfair doesn't have a tv? On the first night we realised there is no microwave in the "fully equipped kitchen" followed by us eating our spaghetti with our fingers as there was no forks. Only silver knifes and plastic spoons (yes that's right plastic spoons in a luxury apartment). The hot water system is failing due to lack of service. Took us 20 minutes to prime the boiler to have a shower each day. When we contacted the host they asked for a photo of the shower not working. The fact that we are saying there is a problem with the hot water system and the host then asks for a photo of a shower not working?? shows the customer service you will receive if for some reason you decide to stay. Also since I booked and paid upfront for the apartment, I was harassed with 4-6 emails a day for 5 weeks straight for a verification process of ID (a simple thing you could complete on day of check in). I received numerous 2 am phone calls Australian time about it. I stayed in two other apartments on this trip in Edinburgh and west London( they had TVs and forks) , I did not get harassed and didn't have to complete this ID process. I am not one to usually complain but this accommodation was such a let down. So disappointed.
  : The apartment is really worn down. Broken tiles, paint flaking and the furniture is broken or in poor condition. The carpets almost made me sick. They are so bad they need replacing. The worst part was getting my mother to walk up 4 stories of spiral stairs each day ( yes the stairs were not listed in "amenities"). I was in a sweat lugging our luggage up and down. We would have looked past some of this stuff if the host was more accomodating and we had a tv to watch. The way in and up the stairs has a wet mouldy smell, there is paint flaking every where on the walls. It is disgusting and feels really old. I can assure you the bathrooms are not spacious! One shower is completely hobbless and floods the whole room when you shower. Im average size and I struggled to move comfortably in there. The beds are uncomfortable and the pillows are worn out to their max. In the first bedroom the throw over on the bed had some very questionable stains on it. I do not recommend staying here, it will honestly ruin you holiday.

  : one Bathroom was a bit worn out and the sink of the shower was blocked.Check In was a night mare: Key Pick up was 45min. Walk by foot away from the Apartment! No direct connection by Bus or tube so the walk was still the easiest way...
